Micah- 4 months

Our "little" man is now 4 Months old!! He's still an easy going, smiley sort of guy! Love him to pieces!

Zion/Frog Hollow

We finally got smart & took a couple of days off before Jer's bike race to enjoy Zion National Park. We headed down the day before Halloween and loved the beautiful days we had! The kids traveled well, although it's amazing how much time & effort it requires...all for a 30min (if that!) walk. We spoiled ourselves with hotel accommodations vs. camping & it paid off in fabulous breakfasts, comfy beds, & swimming in the pool/hot tub!

So continues the tradition of my Mom & Sister (now with child!) coming out to UT on their Fall break. We had fabulous weather & enjoyed many activities together! We are so thankful they are willing & able to come visit (esp. now being put up in the basement)!

Micah- 3 months!

3 Months it is! Super smiley, sweet, easy going guy he is! I think we'll keep him... :)

Getting into 6 months clothes already, yikes!

Lighting up the room & our lives!!!! Can't help but smile in response. He can turn any day into a great day in just one smile!

Collin 2.5 years

Well, this is the best we could do for our 2.5yr photo & it is quite telling. He really is a happy kid, just has decided he doesn't really like to sit still or get his picture taken (wierd! I know!). They'll be good for a few laughs down the road I'm sure! Silly boy!

He is into planes, trains, & automobiles as well as dinosaurs & animals of course. He still likes to dance, sing, & run fast!! He's good at giving us instructions & throwing some fabulous 2 yr old tantrums when things don't go his way. He's got quite the memory, can't sneak much past him anymore. Mr. Independent & doing lots "all by myself." He's become a pretty good helper as well. Big love & hugs to our boy!

"Grand" family adventure!

Somehow we (or maybe I) thought it would be a good idea to embark on a 8-10 hr road trip to the Grand Canyon with a 2.5 yr old & 2 month old. Good news is we survived!!!, even had some fun, & the boys were good travelers! Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate real well, but we made the best of it & actually managed to stay pretty dry despite liquid sunshine every day. Here's some of what we saw & did:

Other highlights were chips & salsa for dinner (also one of Collin's favorites), seeing deer & elk, riding in the "fast car", & swimming! I think our road trips will now be under 5 hrs for good measure! Ahh, always fun memories no matter what happens! :)
