Audi it is!!!
We are now proud new owners of an 2008 Audi S4 Avant!!!! Jeremy has been keeping close tabs for years on cars that he'd like to have...and now, a dream come true! A stellar deal, as it's the end of a year model, sitting on the lot for 1 year, etc. It's pretty sweet, sexy, & flash we think, but "under the radar" as well. I'm just so glad he chose ME before the car! Happy trails, we're off for a ride!

MN trip
While Jeremy was working his butt off at a 24 hour mountain bike race at Grand Targhee (I'll post pics if I get any), I headed for some fun in MN! The weather couldn't have been better for MN in August! After visiting the Heikkila family nearby, I got to visit cousin Julie on Friday morning and play with her adorable kiddos too!

Mr. Alex (5 months), growing up to be quite the charmer!
Sister Katie's (Ms. Andrews) first classroom, all her own. Good luck with the 2nd graders! We helped her get some things in order, fun stuff.
Saturday night, it's on to the bachelorette for our sister to be, Kate! We took a huge paddleboat out on the river in Stillwater, MN to have dinner, presents, & games. It was a beautiful evening for it! Some of the fellas on the boat really enjoyed her gifts!

Jack
The evening started with a delicious dinner at the Spaghetti Factory with our friends Carl & Charelle. Then we headed to the Jack Johnson concert out at the USANA ampitheater. A fabulous venue, minus the pain in the neck traffic to get there! Anyways, it was a perfect evening....the place was PACKED!!! We had a great time!
That's him way down there in the red shirt...and flip flops (if you had binoculars!)

Tour of Utah
So, there's a bunch of crazy cyclists who think it might be a good time to see how much vertical they can bike in a 5 stage race (over 30,000ft to be exact), & how fast they can do it. Hence the label: America's toughest stage race! We've had fun going to support them & cheer them on! There are some big names such as Tyler Hamilton, Oscar Sevilla Rivera, Fred Rodriguez, Victor Hugo Pena, Danny Pate, & some other mighty fast and amazing locals too. We signed Jeremy up for next year! Ha!
The start of stage 3: downtown Salt Lake
They ride by at speeds of 30mph or more!
The winners of stage 3: Ricardo Escuela 1st, Fred Rodriguez 2nd, Jonnie Clark 3rd. Way to go fellas! We also saw them climbing up Little Cottonwood Canyon, where they finished at Snowbird for the day. Man, they looked like some hurting units! It all wraps up today. Check http://www.tourofutah.com/ for complete info & results!
