Family Time

We hadn't gotten to see Tim & Kate much yet so we headed on over to their house on Sunday. The fellas headed out to play 9 holes of golf while the ladies went on a walk, talked wedding details, & prepared for a fabulous grill out afterwards. Here's some pics from their backyard:

The weather was quite perfect the whole trip...great times with family & friends. Never is long enough while were there, although can't complain...back to Salt Lake!!!

Gina's wedding

We were all there to help celebrate the wedding of our good friends Trent & Gina while in MN. The day consisted of schizophrenic weather (per Jeremy...since they didn't get to play golf that morning) but we were able to see some sun & get some outdoor photographs. Hooray for the newlyweds...Mr. & Mrs. Houmann!!! Congrats!

Cabin time!

We took a couple days of our MN vacation & headed up to our cabin on Deer Lake in Wisconsin. Jeremy's parents got to come too! We had lots of fun waterskiing, kayaking, & playing Farkle, with lots of eating (treats!) as usual. Emmet getting ready for a ski: he did a great job dropping one & had tons of fun!

Minnesota Reception

We hosted an open house reception back in Minnesota for those unable to attend our wedding in Salt Lake. The guys (dads, uncles, cousins) got together before hand to enjoy a round of golf. It was another great opportunity to see & visit with everyone, and great cake to be had of course! Thanks again to all for your support & best wishes for our life long adventure together.

Pacuare River: White Water Rafting

Here's some pics we haven't gotten a chance to share from our honeymoon...& they are some of the best ones! The Pacuare River is one of the top 5 rivers in the world for rafting, and now we know why! The rapids were awesome & there was hardly a dull moment along the 18 mile trip. Check out these pics!

Bound for Parowan

So, what is this? You might ask. My dad has this crazy hobby of flying gliders, "soaring" if you may. Him & one of his flying buddies decided to make a road trip all the way from Hastings, MN to Parowan, UT to catch some thermals (& maybe even some state records!). They made a quick pit stop at our house to say hello & stretch their legs. I think the DG looks pretty good parked on our street, maybe they should stay a while. I made sure to tell him that if he holds a Utah record, he should probably live here too! :) Prayers for a safe trip & flying!

Pura Vida in Costa Rica!

Although hard to top such a fabulous wedding day, we enjoyed our honeymoon immensely in Costa Rica. After staying a night in San Jose, we visited the Pacuare River, Arenal Volcano, & Manuel Antonio National Park & beach during our 10 day trip. The many activities included white water rafting, hot springs, zip-line canopy tour, waterfall rapelling, kayaking, sailing, sunning, swimming, & relaxing (yes, we did!).
