Well, just in case any of you are wondering how wedding planning is going...some days I just like to laugh about it-so I thought you could too! I just felt like compiling a list, for fun, of some random things throughout the process.
I really have to ponder what happened first...I think it all started when after contacting my bridesmaid dress shop several times to confirm the date of delivery of our dresses, they ended up leaving me a message weeks later stating that they are up & closing their store. Luckily they shipped the dresses to me AND they were the correct sizes, colors, & # of them.
Second, Jeremy & I spent a while at the invitation store picking out our paper. When we were finally ready to order it (again, weeks later) she notified us that it had been discontinued. None the less, we gave her permission to choose whatever was closest & go with that.
Thirdly, & one of the more significant at this point is that our contracted wedding photographer took our engagement portraits on Wednesday, March 19th & we haven't seen or heard from him since. Guess we'll wait & see on if he shows up on the wedding day as they aren't answering phone calls or returning messages or e-mails...a bit scary, but what do you do?
Fourth of all (& perhaps the worst!!!), two days later I took the dogs (we had Jeremy's parents bulldog Sir Watson) out for a walk only later to discover once home that the prong on my ring had totally bent out of shape & my diamond had fallen out!!! YIKES!! Amazingly, after looking like a crazy lady out examining the sidewalks, grass, & rocks with my headlamp from 8-10pm I FOUND IT!!! in the crack of a sidewalk! Yeah, still need to get that situation remedied. Not good.

#5, I had my dress altered. They called me 5 days later to come try it on, and it wouldn't fasten..they had taken it in TOO much, couldn't really even TRY to get it on. So, luckily she fixed it that night & I tried it on again the next day...needless to say, I can dance! but deep breaths might be a challenge at times.
Sixth (did you really think there would be so many?!), & the one I find the funniest lately...the post office was out of stamps! Go figure...how does that work? Just my luck. Ok, they were actually just out of the pretty stamps & I went to another nearby post office, but seriously! :) I guess due to the postage rate increase as of May (hello, it's still April!!), they weren't ordering any more into their office. Right.....
Anyways, the fun continues...we'll keep you posted on our other exciting adventures. Does this happen to everyone???? Looking forward to the big day & seeing everyone soon! Love & hugs to all!
