Introducing...

Well, here's the little one we call "Roo" for now. Growing good at 21 weeks & all is well so far! Still a surprise if it's a BOY or GIRL...what do you think?

Vegas + 24 Hours of Frog Hollow

We headed out on a road trip to Vegas for a Medical Conference. It was a beautiful sunny day and we were able to sneak in a ride on the Jem trail near St. George, UT along the way.
While Jeremy attended class, I mostly utilized the Hotel gym & held down the pool deck with our friends Charelle & daughter Tallinn. It was pretty nice, someone had to enjoy the gorgeous days!
We caught up with the boys & friends for dinner out & went around to see the usual sites/shows of Vegas.

One day I headed out to explore the Red Rock Canyon Park just 20 miles from Sin City. It was gorgeous & reminded me alot of Southern UT for sure. It was a great day to get out hiking.

At the conclusion of the Conference, we headed back to Southern UT where Jeremy met up with Max & friends for the mountain bike race. We set up camp (in the dark as usual) and enjoyed nice weather for the event.

October SNOW!

This is what we woke up to on Wednesday morning...4" on our deck!

Since most biking was out of the question, we decided to go for a drive into AF Canyon & go snowshoeing. It was a pretty day & fun to explore a new trail into Mineral Basin (Jeremy hopes to drive it someday). We had a fun time & pretty sure Zelli did too!

Practically Perfect

My cousins Kristin & Julie (along with her 2 kiddos) decided to come out to SLC for a visit, luckily my sister was able to join them too! We had a blast & they had me laughing to the point of tears every day & milk coming out my nose too, awesome! We had such a special & fun time together, I really wish we could do it EVERY weekend! At one point the "Andrews" sisters were even beating the "Haertel" sisters in cards, believe it!!! Hugs all around to the "Goober family" & those that are "practically perfect"! We miss you already! Here's a little bit of what we saw & did....

We also had a lot of fun playing at the Rec Center water playground & waterslides, touring Silver Lake & see the Mountains, taking Zelli to the park to play, spinning in circles on the deck, coloring, & much more. Hope they can come again soon!

We got our group together & headed out "4wheeling" for the day. After the dog got a good swim in the lake first, of course. It was a beautiful day, enjoying some of the last of the fall colors. Diggin' the Desert

We had a fabulous time showing our parents around in the desert. It is such a gift that we all can have so much fun together (dogs too)! We enjoyed mountain biking, hiking, jeeping, & taking in the beauty of the deep canyons, red rock formations, arches, & much more! They were absolute troopers & such good sports...even when we stretched their limits a little bit! Good times had by all!!!

Fabulous fall colors

We set out for a nice hike to Lake Blanche to enjoy autumn while it's here. Luckily, the leaves were perfect, about the best I've ever seen them. It was a gorgeous day, check it out! Lindsay & Randy heading up the trail

Dog days of summer

I've been wanting to get out to the Unitas ALL summer, even if just for a day hike. I managed to switch a shift to get a day off with Jeremy, & we headed out there. Really, it was all about Zelli. It's TOTALLY doggie heaven. We started at the Crystal Lake trailhead & went around up near 3 Divide Lakes, Mt. Watson, & Notch mountain. Zelli had a blast sampling & playing fetch in >6 of the dozen or so lakes along the way. Here she is....

Tour of Utah

We hit up Park City Mountain Resort for a mountain bike ride on Saturday afternoon & caught the Tour of Utah criterium afterwards in downtown Park City. It was a grueling 30 or so laps up a 8-12% grade, sharp corners, & fast downhills. There was a pretty good crowd & it was fun to see the riders so often! SLC rider Jeff Louder pulled off a win at the finish for the Stage
